Township used to be one of my go to places to go and enjoy a great beer but my last experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I was ordering drinks at the bar outside from the bartender Ryan with one of my friends. From the second we sat down he was kind of rude but we ignored it assuming it was just his personality. My friend walked to the inside bar to get a specific beer they did not have at the outside bar and when she came back outside Ryan then asked us to leave his bar. He said we were wasting space at his bar and if he was not gonna make money off of us he did not want us there. We were practically the only people sitting at the bar (so not wasting any space) but a lot of people were walking up to the bar ordering drinks. However, according to Ryan, people see my friend and I sitting there and think its "too crowded" to get a drink. I thought Ryan was kidding but he was dead serious. I work in this industry so i genuinely understand how frustrating missing out on one beer sale is but there are some things you just don't say to your customers. I felt extremely disrespected and couldn't believe that actually happened. i tried to order drinks from him after my friend finished her beer but he blatantly ignored us so i had to have a friend that i ran into at the bar buy me a round of drinks with my card. Ryan is not someone of good customer service and definitely not someone i would want to represent my establishment.
Great atmosphere and nice employees but the huge downside was that I was double charged for one of my drinks. Initially I thought that it would not be a big deal for them to fix, but I called them and went back in person about 6-7 times and they still haven't refunded me or given me any kind of coupon. Great potential but definitely wont be back. (Update 10/30/17: I emailed the person below and they never answered, so that's where this is at. 11/5/2017: Okay to the person who is from Township and responding to these reviews, is there any sort of phone number I can call you or someone at because I have not received a single email from anyone at township. I check my inbox multiple times a day along with the spam folder and i havent seen anything so there must be some kind of glitch)
First time to Township, I went out with my son and nephew both attending FSU. I wasn’t sure about what entrance to go in considering there was 10k people there and I had to use the bathroom. I rushed in and ended up in a private area. I apologized for the mistake and went about my way when I was approached by the supervisor. He cursed at me, and I was told to leave before I was trespassed!! I think he thought I was a drunk, funny thing is I don’t drink so not sure what that was about. I asked to talk to a manager and was told to leave and never come back. I told him I would be back and this was not over, I didn’t appreciate his aggressive threatening attitude and I would see the owner’s about this! We have been very big supporters of FSU for years I hope this reaches the right people representing this Establishment so this may never happen again. Go Noles!
I don't know why their rating is below 4. I really liked this place. Drinks are good and the food was good, a little overpriced though.
This is my favorite place to go on the weekends! My roommates and I are treated like family and always have the best service and drinks! Big thanks to Dj and David for always being AMAZING bartenders & taking care of us! :)
