I can only assume the store has a very overbearing manager with a misguided idea of salesmanship. The clothes are not worth the price, and the hovering leaves me with no desire to go back.
Some people like to be fawned over while shopping; I'm not one of them. Acknowledge me, and let me shop in peace. Within 2 minutes, all three of the employees filled me in on their special that was going on, the third I actually told that I wasn't very social today. I gave in to giving her the shirts I wanted to try on to leave me to shop in peace. Nothing I tried on was worth the $60 price points. Afterwards, I browsed the sleepware and picked up a nightshirt. One of the employees rushed over and said "I know you're not very sociable, but my manager would kill me if I let you walk around with that." I lost it and yelled "excuse me? I'm not even done looking at it". I hung it back up and left.
Straight Garbage. The blonde manager lady needs to find a new line of work because retail is not her forte'. Sorry that customers who are returning an item "causes all that extra work", I hate that you are on the phone complaining loudly in front of customers, its terrible that you talk horribly about your coworkers in the presence of customers and i hate that I had to send a certified letter to corporate as well as file a live complaint against you. You will NOT disrespect my family members.
I was in Catherine on 04/15/17, at check out the cashier told me that due to the amount I spent I earned a free perk card, I paid for my items and left. But before starting my car I decided review my receipt to my surprise I noticed I was charged the $25.00 for the so call free Perk Card. I took the receipt back in and discussed it with the Cashier who became upset and tried to tell me I wasn't charged for it. Another employee overheard us she told him he rung it up wrong, he still insisted his way was right he then turned to me in a high voice and said, DO YOU WANT A REFUND?? Instead of just giving me my refund, Well at this point I was upset too and knew I needed to get out of the store. I left but will be back to get my refund. Catherine's need to teach their employees about customer service, my spending is vital to your job. I appreciate the employee who to help. Why would you ask a customer if they want the refund that it is due to them??
