I then received a quote for the work that I requested which included capping off the live outlet by the pump, installing a 30 amp outlet by the garage, replacing a GFCI breaker, and replacing a dimmer switch in the master bedroom that was causing a hum in the wires. Although it says that they took out two GFCI breakers, I only had one with me when I went to Home Depot and I was under the impression that I only needed one.
This company from the initial contact through the finished product was outstanding. I highly recommend them....
On Monday 3/6/17, two technicians came by to do the work that was in the quote. When I showed them the GFCI breaker I bought, they said they didn’t need it. I could return it to Home Depot. They fixed the dimmer switch in the master bedroom and capped off the outlet by the well and also installed the 30 amp. The next day I had no water. I called and the technicians came back and fixed the power going to the pump in the well. I asked them about the lights in the garage and they could not figure out why there was no power to these lights. They left. I then got a call from the office saying they would not charge me for the second visit because the power should not have been cut off to the well pump. But that in order to do the other work that they were supposed to do when they came on Monday, they would charge me for another visit. When I told them that I only bought one breaker, the woman at the office then said, “Well they would have had to come out anyway for the second breaker, so we’ll have to charge you for the second visit.” I was never told about the second breaker and I only had one breaker to bring with me. If I had had two breakers, I probably would have bought two. But I only had one. I do not understand why I have to pay extra when there was clear miscommunication and the technicians who came on Monday didn’t do the work they were supposed to do on the first visit, which was to switch the breaker for which I had bought the replacement. For this reason, I have paid my bill even though they never finished the work that they originally quoted me and will no longer do business with Fraser Electric Inc. There was clear miscommunication with me as well as with the second technicians.
Fraser Electric Inc. recently came to my home to fix a large amount of electrical issues. They were able to come on very short notice, and work around our schedules and urgent needs. Everyone I spoke with was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They earned my respect and my lifelong business. I will continue to use Fraser Electric for all of my electrical needs.
Had them replace 1 breaker and they charged $292!!! What a rip-off! Will NEVER use them again.
Called our home warranty company and they scheduled Fraser to come to our home. Even though our warranty did not cover the outside wiring they worked about 5 hours into the cold dark night to find and fix our underground problem and get our power back on before Thanksgiving also gave us a fair price and explained what happened and answered all our questions. Very good people. I would highly recommend them .
On 3/3/17 someone came to the house I just bought to help turn on the electricity. They removed an energized cable running out of the house. In the process 1 faulty GFCI breaker was removed and I was told to buy a replacement at Home Depot. They also looked at installing a 30 amp box next to the garage as well as capping off an outlet by the water well pump.
