Staff was friendly, store was organized and clean. They had a wide variety of items to choose from (I was surprised) and prices were very reasonable.
Not sure if this is a regular occurrence here but when I visited this store the couple that runs the place was having a major domestic dispute. They were yelling at each other and their children were crying. It was real awkward. I would never go back. If you want to go to a very nice Eastern Asian market I highly recommend Lynn's Oriental Market.
Nihao has the basics and a bit more in terms of Asian food. The store isn't too big but it's not really small either. They have some cool stuff. I like that they had plates and bowls you could buy in that "traditional" Chinese style. The prices were good too. The owners weren't particularly friendly or talkative, but I think that's because they can't speak English very well. If there's something Asian food related you want, it probably is here, and for a good price.
There's an interesting selection of items here and I have yet to have a bad experience. Give it a try!
