Sweet place to walk the dog, bring kids and chat with your neighbors. A few cute spots for lunch or ice cream and shopping. Always a peaceful and happy time walking around the lake
Beautiful area, and a nice walking path. However, it is marred by being somewhat crowded a decent amount of the time. I've gone many times over the years and more often than not, I've had walk by groups of smokers and people sitting in their cars blasting the radio or music if I wanted to walk at all.

-Advisory notice- just be careful if you plan on going here after dark, I have came across people sleeping in the middle gazebo area. The ones I've come across have never bothered to ask for money or anything, nor have any that I've come across every bothered me, but I am a large guy as well.
So if you're looking for a place to walk and/or relax, I would recommend either coming here during less busy times (which is sometimes unpredictable) or just go to a different park.

Lake Ella is structurally sound. In the near facinity of TALLAHASSE police department. Radius of 6 mi wide if you are into fitness. Beautiful lake front view with water fall fountain. Surrounded by other attractions like eateries, ice cream parlors and our very own Centre of Tallahassee.
*Pokemon Hunter friendly with several pokestops and a few gyms nearby.
Good place to walk your dog, or go just for exercise.
Great place to sit and eat lunch or take a walk with the family. Gave it a four because sometimes a yucky crowd hangs out there. I've smelled pot being smoked as I walk around the lake... That kind of takes away from the family-ish atmosphere. Baby duck season is the best time of the year for taking little kids around the lake. The lap around the lake is less than a mile and it's smooth paved all the way around. I've seen plenty of folks pushing loved ones in wheelchairs around the paved path.
