Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! It's not a long path that walks around the lake, but it is so very gorgeous. We had a fun time walking around it last weekend. Would like to go back and have a picnic one day. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Nice quiet park in the woods, and on the water
Nice quiet place for family gatherings such as picknicks,reunions etc.
Talquin State Park is a bit underutilized. That is a shame since it's in fact quite nice. The hiking trail is only a little more than a mile but it is picturesque and travels through some nice ravine terrain. This park also offers a long fishing pier that is built just above the waterline. In addition the park has a couple picnic pavilions, BBQ grills and bathrooms.
A very small park. But the walkway near the lake bank is very refreshing.
