I discovered too late they recommend test that my pet didn't even need. If you refuse the test they won't give you the meds you need for the dog. It is a miserable place to take your pet. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.
Staff is friendly and accommodating, and their vets always act in my girl's best interest. They're totally transparent with prices; I've never had an issue with excessive testing or hidden fees. They do grooming as well, and Ms. Lori is by far the best groomer in town.
One of the few vets in town that will handle birds.They are friendly and knowledgeable. I love that they are open 24 hours in case of an emergency.
BEWARE - Important to know and understand this facility does NOT take cats out of cages if you board with them. Our cat was boarded here, was not taken out and allowed to stretch, this caused a problem that they could not diagnosis, it had to be put to sleep. This cat was healthy, had never had an issue, so we are at a loss to understand what happened. Posting this so others are aware and do not make the same mistake and have to lose a loved pet.
Dr. Moseby does a great job! Our bunny Leonard is always taken care of. We drive an hour out of our way for his appointments just to get the fabulous treatment that the whole team at Paws & Claws gives us. Thanks for keeping our baby safe!
The place has changed since the German Vet that owned the place sold it. They have turned into a money hungry bunch of pukes. It cost almost $60 to just walk into the office and that doesn't include any medical treatment. They have jacked up the prices on medications and lab work where the average person can't afford to take their animal there.
