I was a kid then and I'm an adult now. Nothing has changed. Crappy service and no apologies. Only problem is Greyhound won't do anything about it.
Instead they sell you a non-refundable ticket that ends up having an 5-8 hour layover in Atlanta, a bus stop they manage that has a higher crime rate than the area around the bus stop. So if you don't want to stay in the most dangerous bus stop in the nation over night at the worse possible times, oh well. Because if you purchased a non-refundable ticket before they disclosed this information to you, then you have no real way of contacting them about it. You can mail your ticket back in, and NEVER hear from them again.
It's been that way since 1983.

I actually had a fairly pleasant experience at this facility- the lady at the counter was very helpful when I told her it was my first time on Greyhound and that I had a few questions regarding policies, schedules, and whatnot. The other workers I encountered seemed very polite and helpful towards a few other customers. Giving three stars because I feel the place could be bigger (there wasn't enough seating for everyone in station and some were reduced to sitting on the floor or standing), the bathrooms weren't that great, and our bus did leave about 20-25 minutes late.
If you want to buy a ticket for a family member or friend, they charge you an extra $18 fee for a "Gift Order". For what? Doing absolutely nothing. Just to take advantage of someone's generosity! Just a way to scam the public while they can do whatever they want because they are a monopoly.
Worse bus line service in the world! They give you the option to choose a refundable ticket or a non-refundable, but they won't let you know where your lay-overs are or for how long they are for.
NEVER USE THIS TRANSIT. FLY, RENT A CAR (CHEAPER OPTION), WALK IF YOU HAVE TO!
