I traveled here on Thanksgiving day it was okay except for the homeless people hanging around the station asking for money, but since it was Thanksgiving I decided to buy this one young man some food instead of giving him cash. He said he was living at the shelter (been there done that myself) so I bought him lunch and to my surprise the young man was greaful and asked if he could sit at the table with me while he ate and thanked me and wished me a happy Thanksgiving and safe travels. Now on my way back home it was a totally different story the station was very crowded, no where to sit, hot and stanked with the smell of weed (don't ask me I know).
Service is 5stars! Could use a good cleaning. Always busy, does have food area & retailer.
I rode from Texas to Florida and everything was going smoothly with some minor things I disagreed on untill we arrived in Tallahassee Florida at around 10:30pm. When we arrived in Tallahassee Florida the bus driver announced we will be there for a while which was fine cause the ticket said about a hour overlay to give them a chance to fuel & clean the bus but then the driver announced we will be getting another driver instead thats on his way from Orlando Florida. Our bus was scheduled to leave at around 11:40pm to arrive in Orlando by 3am or so for we can catch our transfers however that was not the case we were there untill 5am frustrated with answers from the rude receptionist who repeated there on the way with no ETA or explanation of why the driver we had(Case or Chase) couldn't continue his Route. The security was also rude they all treated us like we didn't matter while the two receptionists continued to lie that they were making calls to see what was going on but nobody saw them pick up the phone not once but we did catch them sitting back watching YouTube videos laughing having a good o' time while they could of been helping us. Bad experience never again.
Better than the Orlando station when it comes to number of homeless people hanging around, but the service here is horrible. The bathrooms are so gross its scary. When I had to wait until 30 minutes after boarding time to get on my bus, they didn't even make any announcements that there would be a delay.
I run a homeless mission, Greyhound charges us a bogus "Gift" fee of $18 extra when we purchase a bus ticket so a person can go home. Great way to take advantage of good hearted people and charities. 1 star is too many.
