Ridiculous! I’ve had to call them multiple times to remind them to send in my prescription, and yet they still fail to do so. I’ve gone here multiple times and I’ve faced the same exact issue each time. Do your job!
I feel safe at FSU knowing I have the Health and Wellness Center. Their services are fantastic and I've never had an issue seeing them for a variety of health-related problems (including broken limbs).
No walk ins and no weekend appts- no sick hours- why I wanted my kid to choose PSU instead-
I had my forms faxed to them since I am a new student. I waited 9 days to follow up because they said it could take up to 5 days to put the information in to the system (which is totally fine). I emailed since I'm not supposed to make personal calls during work. Darell Gholar, A MANAGER, answered my email. I asked if my forms had been put in the system and he told me to wait 24 hours for the weekend faxes to be input in to the system. I told him I didn't send them over the weekend, I sent them the week before last. He replied back: "If you send them a week ago. We did not receive them." He didn't even check... So I had to step out of my office and call them. It took two seconds for the lady to tell me they received my records and they're in the system... I'm honestly disappointed. And I've heard so many complaints about the people that work at university health. I was hoping it wouldn't be true. I'd never really heard anything bad about FSU, this was the first. But, of all the things that people experience at the school, an improperly managed health department for students shouldn't be one of them... You should hire employees who appreciate working in the medical field and do their jobs right...
