I came into college wanting to be a music major, but although I ultimately went another direction, I still spend a lot of time in music ensembles and at concerts. I know lots of people in the program. Let me tell you: this is the best public music school in the state, and it's top 10 for the whole region. If you're a Floridian high schooler who loves music, this is a pretty good choice. And if you're in the area, there's no reason not to go to a few concerts.

If you are visiting for a concert/recital, make sure to park somewhere else and walk to the CoM (College of Music ) because there are limited parking spaces.
