If I could leave NO stars, I would. This department is incompetent. They paid me benefits for a year before deciding (retroactively) that I wasn't eligible because of the nature of my job. I have been paying into this fund for 50 years and have never claimed before. So I get a letter saying they want $7,700 paid back NOW -because of THEIR error. I arranged for substantial monthly payments which they DO NOT acknowledge. I want to pay off the balance but cannot reach anyone by telephone to determine that balance. I just get voice mail which says they are not equipped for call back and are very busy so try some other time. Then they hang up. USELESS. Embarrassing to Floridians.
As an employer they are impossible to contact. They sent me an email with do not reply attached warning me to log in and take appropriate action. I have no log on details, I called and waited an hour to be told they will be sent out. Two weeks later nothing in the mail and another two warning emails, telling me I am in breach for not responding. Exactly what else can I do? Do they not have a human? give me a log in and I can log in and take any action you want. Typical government office at its worse.
Horrible service, Automated system does not have the right selections and hangs up on you if they are to busy to take your call. The Connect system they have in place takes weeks to update and delays any help you will receive. You are better off finding a cheap hourly to help pay the bills until you can get a more permanent job.
I have been receiving benefits from them ever since May. Theth"adjudicator" called on Tuesday with my employer on the other to find out the reason why i was absent and not going to work.now i am receiving a notice online saying that i need to payback because of overpayment. If they knew i was overpaid why pay me the amount to begin with. This company is disorganized and i completely disapprove of how they handle matters. And now 10/23/17 i have another Hearing. I couldn't attend the phone hearing because i was heading to work and now i bet i am going to receive B.S. letters from them.
If I could give negative stars I would give them to the max. Website is set up horribly and if you have a questions there are 2 hour hold times on the phone. So glad I don't have to use this site anymore.
