Normally tastes great, but heaven forbid you not like onions... ask for no onions, first bite is basically pita and onions. No onions is a very common request.
Got a chicken gyro and the chicken was drier than the pita. Kind of a lot of money for dried out chicken. Didn't even finish half. The service staff were friendly as can be for a drive through. The wait wasn't very long for the crowd they had ahead of me. I'll probably be back to try their regular gyro. I did enjoy their pita fries with tzatziki sauce.
The service was fantastic. The food was great, really great. Gyro, Greek Salad, Baklava, all were outstanding! Our first time. Will not be the last. Highly recommended.
They aren't Greek. I gave her the Greek word for grape leave, yaprakia. She didn't what I said. The grape leaves has inspired me to go hunt the leaves to make my own. So small. No dill. No chive. They were ok but passed on the stuff in the cup. If you're Greek, pass. If not, then try. Service was good. Courteous.
I was in town visting family and stayed at the hotel next door. This was the best Gyro I ever had. Very tasty! I had to call the restaurant and tell the cook of how good it was. When I ordered, the cook told me that he was going to make it good and pretty. He did both. I went back the following day for more. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend Pitaria Express. Thank you Pitaria, I will be back.....
