Received call on Tuesday to schedule delivery on Friday between 4-8pm. Called office around 7:30p to inform driver our neighborhood is in the county, has no lights and street signs are difficult to read. Person answering phone stated driver did not answer.
Needless to say- no delivery was received! Message left to be answered on Monday.
My husband and I purchased a tv from Walmart. The tv was defective, we called Walmart to get it replaced. Walmart wasn't able to replace it but told us the tv could be replaced by the company. We called that company and they replaced the tv with a recertified tv. Economy Moving and Storage of Tallahassee, Florida was hired by the tv company to pick up the defective tv and replace with the recertified tv. The two gentlemen from the pick up and delivery company were awesome. The recertified tv was defective as well and the tv company replaced that tv with a new one. Economy Moving and Storage of Tallahassee were hired once again to pick up and delivery the replacement tv. The same two gentlemen did the pick up and delivery. While we were being careful to have the tv ready for the pick up, we erroneously left a 32 gig flash/thumb drive in the back of the defective tv. My husband called one of the gentlemen who were in our home to inform him we had left the drive in the back of the tv. The delivery gentleman, immediately, said he would check the tv the next morning when he got to work and call to let us know about the drive. The gentleman said he did find the drive and had to turn it in to his dispatcher. We believe her name is Heather. We called Economy Moving and Storage of Tallahassee to speak with Heather to find out if she was going to mail the flash drive back to us. She never gave us the opportunity to offer to pay her for the shipping cost. She was rude and has been rude every time we have called. We received the last delivery from Economy Moving and Storage of Tallahassee July 28, 2016, the drive was supposedly mailed July 29, 2016 and we have yet to receive the drive. We have called multiple times and we get attitude every time. These people are rude and are quick to let us know they were not required to mail the drive to us and they mailed it as a courtesy. I worked in shipping and receiving for many years and I know what it is to make consumers and companies happy. I know how to interact with the public as well as multimillion dollar companies, professionally. The company I once worked for have received "things" that were not their own and those "things" were returned to the rightful owners at the company's expense. I can't accuse the individuals we have spoken with at Economy Moving and Storage of Tallahassee of anything other than that they have not followed through with what they say they have done. Needless to say, it shouldn't take this long to receive that flash drive. Today being August 24, 2016.
When I inquired who Heather's boss was she stated she is the boss. Interesting as her customer service skills are very poor!
This is a fraudulent company. They are not in compliance with numerous laws and regulations!!!
EDIT: We received the flash drive today, August 24, 2016, and all our files were in tact. Thanking God we got our property back. I have to add, it's strange why it took almost a month to get here.
I originally posted this review (I would delete it permanently if Google would allow me to) and this is an updated one. The one star review is mine and while I did have a negative experience with this company in delivering my package, it has been handled professionally. The owner of the company has contacted me personally to sort out the situation and I am pleased with the result. It may have been a big misunderstanding but It is nice to know that even if you have a bad experience the company cares and will handle it. After my conversation with him I would feel fine with them as my delivery person.
Received call Monday from Heather who started the conversation off with rude tone. Stated she never called to schedule delivery for Friday and delivery was scheduled for Monday 4-8pm.
If I could leave less than one star I would! Whoever is answering the phone severely hates their job! I have been waiting on my television since October 30th (that was the delivery date) and today I was given the number to this company’s “dispatch” so that we could resolve the situation, now I work in customer service, have for MANY years and this woman has NONE, started out lying to me, when I check the tracking number it says they attempted to call me for delivery but I had no missed calls, when I told her this “I don’t remember that number and I’m at lunch right now I’m not even there and I won’t be back for an hour and a half” now I don’t know about y’all but any job I’ve ever worked at doesn’t use a cell phone as a landline and we sure won’t answer our phones on lunch, that’s what voicemail is for. So I HIGHLY doubt that lie too. Then she told me she would look up my number and call me when she got back “really you’re going to remember my tracking and phone number in an hour and a half and call me back?” It’s going to be really sad when these companies stop using this one All together because the customer service is so poor it makes us not even want to order large items if we know that they have to come through them. I would love whoever is above her to reach out to me so we can resolve this because she just has NO people skills.
