one of the older women in the front she was African american and wore her hair braided back at the time and she was working the front desk, she was behind the computer that faced the front lobby where the kids do speech therapy.She was unthinkably extremely rude and seemed to have a dislike for children, when my son who has limited verbal capabilities and autism went up to the window to say hi she rolled her eyes and ignored him. It takes a lot for him to speak sometimes so after she ignored him when he made an effort to go to the window and say hello was heart breaking and made me upset but i tried to brush it off After i was done with my sons evaluation i went to check out and she was rude and very unprofessional when it came down to my scheduling. strike 2 Because of her, i will not be placing my child there for therapy. She really should consider getting another job if she isn't a people person and especially if she doesn't like kids perhaps a prison guard or drill sgt would be more fitting to her personality. I wish i remembered her name specially. If i could give her service zero stars i would because that's exactly what she deserves.
My son went for OT and his therapist was great. Very helpful and always giving us tips to help him cope. The waiting room is nice they always have PBS shows on, books to read and toys to play with. My son was always happy to go.
