At 7:15pm a manager who was serving a table near by and I had to ask him how long until we get a server...sarcasticly. He sent over another manager who ended up taking our drink order. This was 7:25pm. Still no silverware.
Good experience overall. Good atmosphere (when everyone else there isn't too loud) and decent service. My last waiter here did an excellent job at doing everything from memory - didn't write anything down, yet didn't mess up or miss a single thing on our orders. Food is adequate, but not fancy. Best to go for half-off appetizers at night, or just to grab a sit-down meal with family/friends without breaking the bank.
Order online for curbside pickup. Waited outside 15 past time for schedule pick up. Went inside and was told they weren't doing curbside today. Waited another 5 minutes to be given a bag of food that was not what we ordered. Took another 20 plus minutes to be given my correct order, but the food was cold and clearly the original order that was most likely just sitting around. Ask for the manager who was slow to response and when she did, she would only apologize for the wrong food, not for confusion of not getting it delivered curbside or the addition time wasted waiting. The manager did offer to make the food fresh and hot, which point I pointed out that it was already been over a hour since I ordered and couldn't wait any longer... which manager clearly had of look of not caring about the situation. Will not be doing business with this applebees again.
This is the second timeI've come here to eat and they were out of utensils. They brought us plastic forks. At least I didn't have to wait 20 minutes this time.
There seemed to be enough servers, I counted 8. Plus the 2 managers and the bartender.
The service wasn't as good. We got out food quick but the servers switched out, and we weren't able to catch someone's attention when we needed something. My drink had some weird white stuff frozen in the ice. They made another one, but it still wasn't that good. My steak was overcooked. The whole plate was under seasoned. The food is ok for the price, but I'd rather spend a little more to get better quality food and a bigger portion size.
No hostess at the door and no one bothers to keep an eye out. Three parties waiting and a server who had table nearby seated us. I'd say
Both drinks ran dry and no attention from our server/manager on refills.
Will not return here.
Our food came in a decent time and was well made. No complaints there, but still no silverware....which was finally realized. Lucky our appetizer didn't need silverware!
The place is very nice inside and out. It's too bad Applebees wasted their finances building it and operating it. Because they fail to put competent managers in place, which in turn fails to properly staff and train their servers, and does they don't seem to care as a while about their job.
She took our full order when getting our drinks to us and she was nice. Still no silverware.
As I look around, seems like the tables waiting on their checks are not being attended to. So it's not just me :) . Maybe if everyone walked out without paying they would be a bit more attentive!
it was mildly busy in here at best. Yet no menus were available at the hostess podium. No prepped silverware either. The guy had to hunt for menus for us.
Been here alot in the past, but moved away. Here for the weekend and stopped by for a meal. Friday at 7:00pm day after Thanksgiving. Surely places like this will be ready for patrons. Nope!
