Disgusting!! I did not enjoy myself tge waitresses and waitors were rude. The girl was not on break and was sitting down playing candy crush on her phone! No hospitality! I will not return to this facility!
I always like the four soup options - and honestly, there is a greater diversity here than in other buffets. The vegetables are good and I always enjoy what I eat.
We were there on a weekday around noon, not real busy. A young female server approached our table and started us off with drinks. During our meal as I watched, it looked like servers were working together, or rather, the young female was taking advantage of the young male server. He wound up clearing our plates a couple of times while she leaned against the server station reading her cell phone, hence why some restaurants don't allow employees to have phones inside. Not very professional looking. I felt bad for the guy. When we were ready we had to ask for our check a couple of times. Being in the food service industry these things bother me.
Large selection, good food. I found it strange that we had to pay extra for hot tea. I'm from South FL and it's included in the price.
A necessary evil- guilty pleasure. Huge selection in the buffet. Lunch is cheaper than dinner. Ample parking and ample seating. One of the more expensive Chinese buffets I've been to, but certainly worth it if you've got the stomach space. Service is par with other Chinese buffets: little English spoken, but they refill your water with the quickness. Semi-clean bathrooms.
I enjoy the food there - for the price it gives all it has. I wish they would refill the dim sum and many other foods though. For the hour I was there I only see a piece of lemon and some rice, but that was what I really hoped to get. The sushi can totally be ignored and there is not a lot of cold appetizers to choose. The hibachi guy did not seem to be enjoying his work. The service was quick and overall it is not bad for a crave for buffet.
3 might be a stretch - but I'm going with 3, optimistic that it'll reach it in time.
Ironically, we frequent China Super Buffet several times monthly. I particularly enjoy the weekends as they offer more unconventional fare on the back wall - fare that I presume would be presented in China - with ingredients that are more foreign. I love those offerings (cold squid, cold glass noodles, whole fish, various tofu concoctions, etc) and overlook some other areas to enjoy them.
Investing in updated decor and restaurant-level cleanliness would go a long way. Fund it, perhaps, by limiting the menu options (lowering food costs) - maybe.
I'll go straight to the let-downs. 1. The men's bathroom is consistently unclean and at times in disrepair. Unclean bathrooms (to me) offer insight of the general cleanliness tolerances elsewhere in the building. 2. The aging ceiling panels are stained and droopy. 3. The lighting is peculiar, with dark rooms interspersed with brightly lit areas.
I can't remember the exact price so I don't want to miss quote it, but very reasonable for the selection, which of course includes sushi, soup, salad, desert, and lots of meats and veggie choices.
