I graduated from Magnolia is the mid 90's, and now at close to 30 years old I still think quite often of my time at Magnolia and how incredibly and wonderfully it has impacted my life long after I left the school. Now as a new mother I think back to the hands on learning and individualized approach the school uses, and I take a lot of parenting cues from this. I only hope I can find a school for my daughter that comes close to being as magical an experience and yet also as academically, socially and creatively stimulating.
Great school. My two children have attended the elementary school. The teachers are awesome and caring. I would recommend to anyone, my youngest child will be attending as soon as he is old enough.
The school focuses on my son's individual interests. I have a very quiet and shy child and this school, being small in nature, really focuses on my child's needs. I really like all the kind and warm teachers. I have never encountered a school as genuinely kind as this one.
Honestly this school is only for "certain people". There are bullies. There are no grades till middle school, which is good for some people. Some teachers are mean. Some teachers don't teach true topics/facts. The school counsel does not get a lot done.
My daughter attends the Magnolia School and she loves it. She is excited about school. She is truly excelling - her reading and vocabulary are off the charts - and It's easy to see that all of the children in her class are being nurtured and encouraged to learn and grow at their own pace. The teachers at this school make learning fun and aren't tied down by teaching to a test - and the kids here are much better for it. I'm so glad we found such a wonderful community for my daughter to attend school.
