the only reason to shop here is for the occasional deals on bogo items. the produce is disgusting and over priced. $2.50 PER hoss (small) avocado! a bin of habaneros that actually had rot that looked like pus on them because no one buys them and they constantly spray water on produce to 'keep it fresh' lol. in florida! all the peppers for that matter are shriveled , old and unusable. the bags of potatoes ... i have seen people throwing them onto the pile. no wonder many are bruised and unusable. the tomatoes are horrible even in peak season. the bagged fresh express salad has rot in them usually because plastic wrapped produce sweats in transit then the moisture in the bag rots it from the inside. why is it so hard to find produce that is not garbage? it makes me wonder if walmart and publix take turns getting their produce from each other's dumpsters?
Thank you Christine in the Deli for your patience and assistance on Saturday evening. We stopped in after going to a different location for 9 dinners and you accommodated our needs. My team was hungry and tired and you made us feel valued as a customer after another location promised to have dinner and didn't honor it upon arrival. You're a gem and deserve recognition...
I always enjoy publix shopping and the service is great. But today I happened to be looking to buy some crab legs for my daughter's birthday and found a package on sale for 6.99 a pound. I asked the seafood guy I'm I could get several more pounds and he told me it would he 11.99 a pound. I still don't understand why I could not buy at the lower rate it was not marked down for being close to expire. I left without buying anything. Honestly it is the only bad experience I have had with Publix.
Clean store. Everything is available. Bad experience in the deli though. Asked for a whole chicken cordon bleu sandwich for which I paid. I received two separate ham sandwiches. Nothing about this sandwich is a chicken cordon bleu. I was asked three times what I wanted... figured they heard me.
