Both my children go to Smileworks; they started at 5 and 3 respectively. I was worried about the first time, but the hygienists are so easy-going and positive. They talk the kids through everything happening and make it fun. My daughter told a friend that going to the dentist is better than Disney World!
I took my three year old granddaughter to her first dental appointment. Yeah! She did absolutely wonderful!! Thanks in part to the awesome dental hygienist. This young lady adapted to my granddaughter's behavior than made her feel like she was a rock star. The once apprehensive and shy granddaughter walked away excited that she had her teeth cleaned! To top off this experience, she received a goody bag that contained a pinwheel!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!! My granddaughter has not let it out of her site. Excellent dentist and professional staff. Antawon had a consultation there today and it was a great experience. Dr. Long thoroughly explained his dental problems, recommended solution was in line with his previous dentist recommendations. Everyone explains information thoroughly. Staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this practice. Kind of wish I was a kid again.
Dr. Long is amazing. My son suffered a dental emergency during the hurricane. As soon as the office opened the Dr. jumped through hoops to get us an apt. He was kind, gentle and explained everything. My son hates doctors, but because of his love for children and dedication to his profession, my son enjoys going to the dentist. He also calls to follow up to ensure everything went ok and that all my concerns were addressed. He Called, not his staff. How many doctors take time out of there day to make follow up calls. Dr. Long is simply amazing. If you want quality care in a clean environment, with professionals who really care (not pretending for a paycheck), than Smile works and doctor Long is hands down the best! He even provides referrals for adults. As long as my children live near Tallahassee he will continue to be our dentist. Thank you so much for being a caring doctor that enjoys his profession and for employing a great staff. My only complaint is that he can't work on adults :( My regular dentist is no where near as good.
I am unbelievably disappointed in this office. An employee was rude, disrespectful and bilgerant. What was even more disappointing was that a dentist stood and allowed this behavior. I have been going to this office for 12 years and I will never step foot in the office again. I will share this experience with anyone willing to listen. After speaking with others it doesn't surprise me that they too have moved dental practices based on their experiences.
