The TV and Home Theater section is the most unkept area, being the busiest; it's no surprise.
I hear and read so many bad things about this corporation and how this corporation is not doing well and has closed stores. I had 4 items in my shopping cart on their website but nothing happened when I clicked Checkout, so I'm not able to spend my money with this corporation. I called the customer service number and someone overseas said they could not transfer me to the U.S, so they transferred me to a supervisor but a recording asked for a three-digit code. What three-digit code?? I hung up. Then I called the local store manager but got a regional sales rep. He said I can't check out because the items are out of stock. So they're out of stock/unavailable but I can add them to my cart and waste time waiting for the screen to change after I've clicked the Checkout button?? I spent over an hour of my time trying to spend my money with this corporation. Hung up and got the 4 items elsewhere for a similar price. My $50 probably doesn't mean anything to Best Buy anyway.
Products are better quality that most, if not all, other box stores nearby. Prices are ok for being box retail. Return and and exchange policies are fair (just make sure to read them before purchasing).
Car Audio section is slightly empty, but the car bay staff are working and knowledgeable. If they don't have the parts ask the staff, they can order them and even some rare parts for your needs.
Pretty good selection and prices except for the phones where they typically charge $100 above retail value unless you call them on it in which case they will price match
no price match. wsste of time and gas. garbage employees who dont know anything. prices and service is wayt better on amazon. never going back
The Geek Squad SUCKS!! DO NOT GO!! If I could give them negative stars, I would! This Best Buy is the worst!! The WORST!!!
The Computer/PC section offers a large section of products and accessories. I've been happy to see them expand to gaming desktops and laptops; and even offer MSI, ROG and CyberPower systems. Having DIY parts again has been great, better quality parts than some of the ma/pa shops. When you need a quick part and can't wait, BBY has stepped up.
Having worked for BBY GeekSquad in the past, I know process and prices have changed. I can't comment on them since I never use them.
It's the only Best Buy in town. The store is clean and most, not all, of the staff are polite. Knowledge fluctuates between years and college semesters. Some staff are on spot while others are there for a paycheck. Having been a former employee, it's no excuse to not understand your products and troubleshooting as they offer great training and online courses. Even offer incentives to employees for good scores and completing training.
The Media section has been clean recently, I can blame the staff, patreons have a habit of mixing or miss return goods. But most of the music, movies and consoles are in order. They have most of the modern systems and newest games, but not a good spot for older releases or previous games/consoles.
All in all, staff are good at upkeep and being friendly. A good store for quick purchases or if you favor box retail. Best to check BBY first before being ripped off by Walmart's inferior products (don't believe me, then research it).
