I have been taking my suits and dress shirts here for a couple years, enjoy there professional service. When I had problems with grass stains on my sons suit, they worked on them until they came out.
Very rude and disrespectful, "the price up front policy needs changing"......don't worry I won't be back
I went to pick up the shirts prior to going to work. The attendant got the shirts off the rack without mentioning anything was wrong. I looked at the shirts to make sure they were properly cleaned this time and noticed that both the grease spots as well as the black stain were still there. As a matter of fact, the grease spots looked more pronounced. I told the attendant that the shirts were not cleaned and she said she would go get the owner. The owner came up to the front counter with a defensive attitude and proceeded to tell me that she had pulled the initial ticket and said that the stains were already on the shirts as noted on the ticket. It’s funny how all of a sudden the stains were reported on the ticket and it wasn’t noted on my original ticket. So according to the owner, the shirts were already stained and she refused to compensate me or try to remove the stains. I explained to her that the shirts were not stained because they were new shirts. I also stated that I frequented the shop enough to get better service. She argued that the shirts were like that prior to cleaning and even asked me if I was calling her attendant a liar. I was taking a back at the statement and stated that the shirts were unacceptable to me. The owner walked away from the counter and I again stated that was unacceptable and someone should be paying for the shirts. She stood at the end of the counter and said she was not doing anything else. As a regular customer, I was just stunned and stood there in disbelief as to the actions displayed. She then told me that I could stand there all day and nothing would be done and proceeded to walk to the back of the store.
I had the worst encounter with the most unprofessional business owner in Tallahassee. The owner at One Low Price Cleaners needs to enroll in an extensive course to learn better customer service. She is rude and clearly has no etiquette in customer service.
I frequently patronize the business and have had minor issues with them from time to time in the past. Today was the last time. I had initially placed several items in the cleaners to have cleaned. So naturally I expected all the items to be cleaned. Unknown to me while on my way to a meeting last week, I noticed some grease spots at the bottom of my shirt. I just wiped it clean as best as I could prior to my meeting. Later upon closer inspection of my other shirts, I noticed that there were grease stains in a few others and some black stains on the neck of another shirt. So I took the stained shirts back to the cleaners last week and the owner was at the front counter. I had informed her of the stains and she attempted to tell me that she had noticed stains like that in shirts before, trying to imply that the stains were already in the shirts. I politely informed her at that time that wasn’t possible since the shirts were fairly new and hardly worn. I then asked her what the black stain in the other shirt was. She had no answer for that and took the shirts and marked them as re-dos.
The service was poor and they ruined my comforter. It was so badly burned, I had to purchase a new one. The jackets they cleaned turned out to not only look the same, but also smelled strange.
In addition to minor nuisances, such as broken buttons and wrinkles pressed into the garments, they managed to scorch the fabric of several new shirts. I will not be bringing my clothes to them again.
Her actions were unprofessional and blatantly told me that she was calling me a liar and didn’t care about me as a customer. It’s a wonder she has remained in business this long with the attitude and lack of customer service she had portrayed. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere where my business would be more appreciated. I’m interested to know how many other customers she has treated with such disregard.
