Haven't been to a Laundromat in years, but the staff was very helpful. The machines don't use actual money; you purchase a card that the machines use. My only complaint is that you have to purchase a guesstimate amount, and I have about $3 left on a card that I will likely never use.
Once my account was set up, which was a bit of a hassle, I've had a great experience with their Easy Laundry service--free pick-up and delivery--which has made it very easy to not have laundry machines. The clothes are delivered washed, dried, and folded; and the price is not outrageous. They also give you options on how to have your laundry done, which is really nice.
It's a laundromat. It has machines to wash and dry your laundry. The machines work as intended the vast majority of the time, though you'd be wise to make sure the dryer is heating up before you dump a full drying time's amount of money into it, just to be safe. I love the ginormous "Magnum Load" washers. They have nice, big flat screen TVs, most of which work. I can think of no good reason that a cash card from one Wash Around the Clock location shouldn't be good at any other WAtC location, but oh, well.
We come here once a year to do our comforters or more often than that if our washer or dryer are on the fritz...it's fun for us. We get to people watch and the owner is a nice man. The seating could be a little better sometimes it's so crowded there's not an empty seat to be had. When that happens we go next door to eat and have never had missing/moved stuff but one of us goes and checks on it a couple of times. We love all the different ways to pay and we mostly feel safe there too in spite of it being a somewhat dodgy area. I had a bad day in there bringing my wet sodden stuff in there ( my spinner had broken and I'd thought I'd hand drained well enough and I had not ) and an attendant was right behind me with mops and towels and sweet words not yelling at all at the mess I was making. I even had one refund me on a drinks machine. So I've had good encounters with the workers. I have to say we enjoy our once or twice ( or more trip ) to WATC 24!! I will try other locations too.
Bottom line; it is what it is. If you're expecting luxury, you're going to be disappointed, but if you just need to do your laundry, this is a fine place to do it.
It’s going to cost $1.00 for you just to even get started. So I payed $1.00 for the card okay, great, thinking they will load $1.00 credit to the account nope so I put a 5$ bill..... head over to a washer it’s priced at $2.49. (26 mins per a wash) Okay sounds good so I need soap since I’m just on a business trip and just had to wash some things quick $1.00 for soap. Not big deal so now I have $6 in to this trip. My card now has $ 1.51 on it so let’s go check out the dryers. Oh look at that the dryers cost 0.52¢ per a cycle at 12 mins . And my card is short 0.04¢ to get the dryer setup for 3 cycles. So I’m going to have $7 wrapped up one load of laundry. For 3$ more I could of gone to a wash and fold and not waited. around
