The bar next door is part of the same business so beer, wine and cocktails are also available which is nice while consuming pizza.

It was a quick delivery on a Friday afternoon and absolutely PERCECT! I am very specific with well done crust and other things. Most places will completely blow off any special requests but Gaines St. did not at all!
I am sad that I did not take a pic of this masterpiece! I had Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, mushrooms, black olives and extra cheese...Well done crust (0ne of my Faves!) They NAILED IT!!!
I can't say I've been to every non-corporate pizza place in town. What I can say is of what I've tried locally this is my favorite pizza place. In particular I like the specialty pizzas they offer. My favorite is probably the Figure Four. It has prosciutto and figs which I think are pretty exciting toppings for pizza. I also like the Metal Mike. It has homemade ranch dressing instead of marinara and also sriracha sauce. I don't even like ranch dressing which is the funny part...
Great $7.00 lunch - a slice of pizza with 1 topping (I recommend the sausage), a delightful Caesar salad (watch out, they put tomatoes on it) and an unsweet tea. Yum! Very reasonable. Parking can be a problem sometimes. Worth it!
Delicious pizza in a slightly nerdy and fun setting. There is also some beer on tap. Their pizza crust is thin, toppings are numerous, and each pie comes out hot and fresh. As others have noted, their parking lot is terrible. If it's raining, it turns into a mud pit. It also only accommodates 10-12 cars at best, and it is shared with other businesses. Unfortunately, there aren't any close parking alternatives. Either Railroad Square or College Town garage will do, plus the walk can help burn the delicious food you'll partake.
First time today at Gaines and it was great. I had the lunch special which came with a slice of Pizza + Salad + drink for $7. I also got the garlic knots which was also good. Servers were very kind and i would recommend this place.
