The food was AMAZING! I asked for Thai Hot and they didn't disappoint. Many places take it pretty easy even when you want them to spice it up. This was very nice :-). We had Crab Rangoon and Yellow Curry with chicken. As the other reviews say, don't go if you are in a rush because the service was slow. It was a nice relaxed dinner for me though! 5 stars! The crab Rangoon was so good I forgot to take a pic before eating most of it!
Food was excellent, reminded us of home. Servers were friendly and quick to greet. But the food wait was ridiculous. We were one of the only tables in the restaurant and we waited 35+ min for our entrees and the same amount of time for dessert which was literally sliced mangos with sticky rice. We will go back to try again and hopefully kitchen times are more reasonable because as it stands, we could literally go out and buy all the ingredients and cook it ourselves before they finished cooking their plates. Will update to more stars on a later date if anything changes.
They employ the best waiter in town. He doesn't interrupt when you are talking, always smiling and enjoys his job. Rare to see people taking pride in what they do for a living. Food is awesome. Avocado rolls are a must! Nice atmosphere.
The place is very small and doesn't look like much on the outside. The owner has done a lot to the interior so that it is quite nice. The food is delicious. I am a vegetarian so I love the many options available. Also, there is a side room if you want to do a party or reception. The restaurant is also in walking distance of Cascade Park so it would make a nice date night on the cheap. The dinner cost is reasonable. Maybe around $15/person depending on your order.
I struggled with five stars. I love this place and the food is so good. It's delicious and close to authentic with ok service. They do a couple things I don't like with the food: they slice the lime leaves really thinly, for example, where traditionally they'd leave them full and have diners pick them out. Fine. I get it, Americans. But they stubbornly have only one server even for twelve tables. The food is really good, nearly authentic, and carefully prepared in ample portions. The service is friendly, competent, and slow. Highly recommended but be prepared to wait. I love the food and atmosphere enough to tip it to five stars.
