Staff was nice and helped deal with the multitude of issues we had. As in... the table wasn't clean. ALL of our silverware was gross and some of them had old food crusted on. The food also took an extraordinarily long time considering they weren't very busy, especially for a cracker barrel located off of a highway. And not all of our food was even ready by the time they brought the bulk of our meals. Saving grace: nice wait staff was accommodating of military members inability to sit in the middle of the room, and the eggs were excellent. But overall... probably one of the most annoying visits we had ever had at a cracker barrel.
I'm a pretty easygoing person, but I'm disappointed to say that I'm extremely unimpressed. Although the place is clean and the bathrooms are cleanish, this place is severely understaffed. I came in with a family of 5 and were told to wait for a table (very reasonable and we expected that to happen). Then, out of no where, 20-30 girls came into the restaurant, which is no big deal. I remember telling my dad, "Thank goodness we came before them. Imagine the wait on the table 'lol'". Little did I know, THEY WERE ALL BEING SAT BEFORE US in groups of 4 and 5. My mother (bless her heart) started speaking to the manager and the manager said we would be seated. We ended up walking out. I was slightly embarrassed that the manager had to be spoken to.
Quick stop for breakfast while traveling. We were here early on a Wednesday morning. There was no wait so we were sat quickly. Casey was our server and she was friendly and quick. Food was good. The holiday biscuit was very good without betting too sweet. Nice stop.
Fantastic! Great atmosphere. Service was okay, food came out pretty quick. Waitress kinda forgot about keeping our coffee cups full, and my mom’s corn muffins. Other than that the food was excellent.
The food and price was great. We didn't have much of a wait and the hostess was very friendly. Where I have a great issue is our waitress, Brittany (spelling may be off), was rude. She took our orders quickly and took forever to get us straws for our drinks. That was the last time she came to our table. A different lady brought us our food, and a gentleman brought my husband a refill. The only thing she did was toss the bill on the table before we had even taken a bite of our food. Our kids (2, 6, & 8) were very well behaved and we would have ordered desert for the 5 of us but were ignored once our orders were delivered. I was out of my drink halfway through the meal and after repeated attempts to get her attention (she avoided eye contact or went around us the other way to avoid the chance of being called) I gave up and had trouble eating my dry, obviously not fresh biscuit and warm not so fresh cottage cheese. Would go back and make sure to avoid being served by Brittany since the food and price was good.
