I enjoyed the food, experience, location for the most part. In my particular experience, there is hardly anything to be had for a vegetarian or vegan, though it’s understandable for a Cuban place. Please go try this place if you like the cuisine or just good, meaty food. Service was a mix of bad and good, but I think general the staff was helpful and timely and all. the most fake cuban food probably why only white people like this. The food was so cold and flavorless and took over an hour to get it plus the order was wrong. Every other table was getting there food before us even though we had been there well before them. The server was so rude, inattentive and, never offered to get refills or any type of compensation for waiting so long. I had to tell her i wouldn't pay for it, and she rolled her eyes and said "just leave". Didn't apologize once. All the other servers looked nice and hardworking I guess we, unfortunately, got the one who didn't care. The drinks we got were good and the prices were decent. Probably won't come back for the food though.
Not happy at all with the food. Only gets one star cause the female staff all wear yoga pants
Never understood the hype around this place. Food has always been horrible when I went. Always have to drown everything in gordo sauce to make it taste good. And the service is always horrendous. Unless you have 2-3 hours don't go. A helpful hint is to go ahead and ask for your check as soon as you order and along with a couple refills cause you will never see your server again. Place is a disaster.
Gordos is always a good choice. The food is delicious and they have a fairly low price. Local artists sometimes play in the deck which is a nice addition to choosing to eat outside. The only drawback is the parking, I would definitely carpool if you go here.
