The wait staff was very attentive and the service was very good.
When it comes to Masa, you can rest assured that you will get consistently good sushi. Their lunch sushi special (2 rolls for $12) is the main reason I come here and they are well worth the visit. The dinner prices, as with many sushi restaurants, are out of my range though. The service is friendly and their is more than enough space for large or small groups. This is currently my go-to sushi place in Tallahassee.
This is one of those places that you take your friends to and watch their faces while they enjoy whatever they've ordered. Don't deprive yourself of this experience - and this is NOT an expensive place! Love it....
The Sushi was mediocre. I may not have had the best options as all of my colleagues ordered the fried ones but they felt greasy for tempura dishes. Their Beauty and the Beast roll looked unappealing and unfortunately I cannot stomach mayo so I did Not enjoy the one piece I ate. The saving grace was the duck breast I ordered for my meal. It was huge and very flavorful. I only wish the skinny were crisper.
Fantastic food, fast/friendly service. It can get crowded on weekend nights when students are in town. No wait otherwise. There is a large room with a table for groups. The bar has a good selection of traditional cocktails, not the fruity trendy ones. Their lamb chops are excellent and like everything else, in large portions. Be prepared to take left overs. Whether you like sushi or variations of traditional dishes, everyone will find something to love here. The owner is almost always on the property out front and making sure you are happy. Love this place!
Ordered the Eggplant with Thai Basil Sauce and tofu as protein. Very good mix of flavors, and eggplant was cooked well! The sushi is fresh and service was extremely good, friendly staff.
