This place is awesome for any service you would want done! I have had my hair done, manicure, pedicure, and massages before. All are excellent. They make you feel right at home when you get there, and I have never once been disappointed with any of the services. I'm quite surprised by the negative comments, as I have been there several times and always been extremely happy!
I am so disappointed!! I purchased a gift card for my daughter mid-year and she started calling in November and they had no openings - told her to try back after the holidays. Then, after having the same response with my gift card, I went in right before Christmas to try and get an appointment before mine expired. I was told they had no openings and to call back after the New Year (extended my gift card until the end of January - BIG DEAL) and they would have openings on the calendar. While I was at the appointment desk, someone called and they were told that they had run out of Gift Cards, but would have more delivered by the new year. If I had KNOWN they were going to close, I would have AT LEAST picked out some product to take home with me. I'm feeling ripped off right now and if they don't make good (as a good business WOULD do) I will not support them IF they re-open. They are digging themselves deeper if they don't make contact with those who have made contact with them through their e-mail address. I have been a good customer for several years and given a lot of gift cards for Bernice.
I got a Brazilian wax done - the sheet on the table had sticky wax all over it and the tiny hand towels they offer to place under your bottom were stained and ripped. When I went to pay, I was informed the price was $55 instead of the $40 listed online. I will never get any service here again.
The only service I've ever gotten there is the massage. Heavenly. I've had a lot of massages in my life at some pretty swank places including NYC and Casino's so I think I'm a pretty good judge. I've also had different types. Deep, Swedish, Hot Stone. I've been to some better looking salons --not that this one looks bad I've never had a better massage than I had here. I've had both deep and hot stone at Betton and both were wonderful. I should point out that I do not get a massage for therapy but purely for relaxation. If you have pain or muscular issues I cannot speak to that. I had such a professional and respectful massage therapist, Terri Stacy. I don't know if there are others there but I ask for her by name. For relaxation, get the hot stone and enjoy.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Bernice at Betton Salon and Day Spa. The service was incredible, the prices were great, and the staff takes fabulous care of you- start to finish. I was really nervous about my first ever bikini wax, but I couldn't have asked for a better experience- The specialist was professional, attentive, efficient, and kept my comfort her highest priority. I plan to use B's again and again-Thank you Bernice at Betton's!!!
