Honestly the best customer service I've ever had at any grocery store let alone any Publix. It was so busy with people preparing for the hurricane but the staff took time to help me and was extremely respectful and courteous even in the stressful situation.
I love my publix! This store is always clean and stocked. The cashiers are pleasant and professional.
The deli and pharmacy desperately need some better management or assistance. When the deli has specials, they never have the items ready and available. The sub station and hot meals are all confined to a small corner which is not enough room for the customers (small store). The pharmacy never gets orders filled in time and are constantly harassing my Dr office to refill medications that do not need to be filled. The pharmacy miscalculated my child's prescription and although it was a lower dose, that meant the antibiotic would not be effective. Have talked with the pharmacy and store managers about these issues. The phone system in the pharmacy for some reason tends to bump the prescriptions to The following days or 3 days off (that's what they tell me). The pharmacy went downhill when they moved it to the other side of the store and changed staff. I think this is the only Publix in Tallahassee that hasn't upgraded to a larger store.
If you are going to launch an online pharmacy service, try to do it right. I ordered a refill for my prescription and chose this publix on the options online. I chose two of my prescriptions. TWO! i went to pick up and your disinterested pharmacy tech was confused about why I was there. Turns out the prescription had been filled at the other location. As in, only one was filled at a different location and the other had been ignored all together.
