I think the old school before net paying a traffic ticket was faster and less frustrating!
Came in to simply print a document and the heavy set red haired man didn't want to spend his time helping me. Saying they had self service area and since he had only one behind his shelf I have to use the kiosk. Yet I was the only customer in line. I had a specific preference for the document I was going to print out and wanted to make sure it would print the right way and his response was that their computer couldn't do anything but print because their system was jacked. And I could do it myself on the kiosk. Tried to the kiosk didn't work that way. I guess bad Bad location = Bad customer service. This is not a bad review on Staples part only on this location. Thumbs down!!
I went into staples this afternoon to print something out, and was really impressed with the staff. Upon walking in I saw that there was a belligerent homeless man shouting at a manager that had asked him to leave. The manager kept his cool and was still super personable while handling the situation, even though the man wasn't cooperating with him at all. I was also really happy with the worker who helped me out in printing area because he also had a positive attitude, was informative, and very efficient. It's refreshing to go to a business where you can tell they really care about making the customer happy!
Everything always takes too long. There's usually only one register open, they ask/push for they're rewards card when you step up, and their print center has never produced my order on time. If only they made the experience more convenient and less of a hassle. On a positive note, they often have decent deals on printer paper.
Horrible Customer Service-
Do Not trust online stock for store! Went today to get a computer and showed 2 in stocks. Get there. After getting a associate. He drug us back and forth of front of the store after he had scanned the computer. Comes back and says the 2 we have are damaged we can order. Will never in my life come here again. Got a hell of a lot better computer at costco. Thanks I love my new computer lot better and better price! Not to mention Costco for no extended cost has a 90 return policy on all electronics!
Printer areas customer service could use some work. Went in for some simple printing at the self kiosk, I had never been to staples before so I asked the guy working if he could assist me. In where he just said to use the machine and press print... mind you he peaked his hands over at different machines. He saw I had gotten frustrated because I wasn’t sure as to what machine to use, a customer had to help me because he chose to take the easy route instead of helping a customer. Seems to be more than one person complaining about the same thing.
Ps. I've worked retail actually responsible for a electronics department. (over $3 million in stock) Only way they have on hand (stock in system) and not claimed out which would take out the 2 on hands would be him and a friend or saved for people of the store all you do is take a pin or something destroy a little bit of box! Now you can say it's damaged and can't sell it to everyone and when you're friend or you are ready bring it to cashier and buy it. Basically looks like it could be damaged and it's not! Anyway if you want that $359.99 hp laptop go to Costco for $100 more 12 gb ddr 4 ram, touch screen, western digital blue 1 tb in it, and latest backwards compatible network card wifi ac! Lot more for your money also a touch screen alone is $100 more usually than a non touch. Western digital (blue 5400rpm) best hard drives on market. Can upgrade ram to 16gb its ddr 4 2133. Can probably take 2400 if you want. This laptop at costco isn't even on sell! Regular price. And yes battery is ejectable without having to go inside.
