They allowed me to break out of my lease early since I had to leave the state. I was docked some money from the security deposit upon leaving for regular cleaning and repairs. But that was expected.
As an out-of-state investment property owner, I have to have someone local in Tallahassee manage my property. Meridee has done an outstanding job managing my quad. She's eased out a slow paying tenant, handled a junk car parking problem and found a responsible new tenant. Her close personal relationship with the contractor at Nail It Carpentry has meant that when repairs are needed, they are done promptly at a reasonable price. When a washer and dryer were needed in one of my units, she purchased late model used ones at less than half the cost of new. At the end of the year she provides me with an excel report with all the income and expenses to make filing my taxes super easy! I couldn't be more delighted with how well she has managed my investment property.
I rented an apartment from them from 2014 till 2017. Just finished my lease because I moved to another state. They have been nothing but professional with me throughout my stay in Tallahassee. Whenever I had a maintenance request they took care of it immediately. They've had plenty of staff changes during my stay, but all have been friendly and courteous to me.

Meridee could have easily stop contacting me because she didn't know when I was going to be employed again or even when I was going to be back on my feet to buy a house.
