Be cautious This rental agency closes very early. If you have a late flight you may be stranded and at the will of taxis. It's normal to rent a car and drive to your destination but not from here, the car rental will close even if you are on the flight. Try a different city to land or a better rental agency. There are many cars in the lot but No attendants to help.
I rented a car from West Palm Beach back to Tallahassee. When I almost made it back, I got a flat tire. I called and requested roadside. I was told there would be no charge for the tire or roadside, but got a bill for almost $200. Because I'm under 25, the car was $111 to rent. I didn't hit anything. I didn't get anything in the tire. It popped and left me on a bad side of town waiting for an hour for help. I will never rent from this company again. They are charging me so they can replace their crappy tires and make a profit.
I received a car that had not been cleaned properly at the Tallahassee airportThere were gummy bears in the back seat and coffee stains in the back seat floorboards. Last time I rented a car here, the staff were very disorganized overall. I was the first person at the counter, yet I had to wait nearly 10-15 minutes to even get the keys to the car. The lady at the counter put down the pick up time as 11:56am. They did not have the car ready at the time of pick up- there was a lot of confusion with the staff. She finalized the paperwork around 12:09pm. I have the specific times recorded because I was texting a friend who had dropped me off at the airport that she could leave because the process was taking so long. I actually received the keys a few minutes later than that. The staff told me to pick up the car at slot #40, but the car at #40 still had personal belongings in it. After waiting around some more, some of the staff members ended up giving me a car parked in #28. By the time I actually received the car, it had been another 10 minutes. Anyways, the problem I have is that I was still at the counter even after 12:09pm; therefore, the pick up listed was not representative of the actual time that I picked it up. I had an emergency and dropped off the car the next day at 12:45pm. I could have really used the 30-minute grace period assuming the car had been ready to go and the time had been reported accurately. Instead of understanding how these minor inconveniences affected my schedule, the staff charged me DOUBLE the fees. This minor mistake almost ended up costing me a lot of money. Thankfully, when I dropped off the car at the Tampa location, the staff were much more understanding and were able to help me with the fees. Regardless, I would be extremely hesitant about renting a car from this location again.
