My wife and I have used Fountain's for almost 13 years. They have been great to work with. I totally trust them which is hard to find in the automotive industry these days. Whenever I have my car in for things like regular mileage checkups they only do the work that is needed, and help us keep our overall cost of ownership low. When we needed a new muffler for our Subaru they quoted the work, but then told us that a competitor could actually do that work for less because of certain tooling that they had at the other shop. Not many shops would do that.
I loved this place when I spent two awful years in Florida. Having returned home to NY/NJ, I now realize that they are part and parcel of the horrible South. They don't know the difference between an F150 Limited and an F150. A power steering hose went in a year because they put the wrong parts in the truck. If you're an educated, non-Southerner, don't go here.
Took my vehicle here on short notice. They were able to inspect and fix my car in under two hours. Locally owned and great hospitality from the time you walk in till the time you leave. A1 in my book.
I am a person who has been burned before by auto repair transactions . . . so I do not place this review lightly. Fountain's Auto Repair is the greatest group of automotive professionals I've met in Tallahassee or in Florida for that matter, and I plan to use them any time I need auto repairs. The owner is super nice and professional. The staff is outstanding. I never feel like I am bothering them when I call or ask questions. Cade and Shannon, especially, are always ultra professional, honest, and kind. I appreciate them so much, and I highly recommend trying Fountain's Auto Repair.
