Auto Zone told me my alternator was failing after I just purchased a brand new battery from them since they told me my battery was bad first. I decided to go to Pep Boys to get a second opinion. Everything in my car read as fine after they ran diagnostics. They were super friendly, helpful, and quick. They even showed me all the information that was printed out about my battery and alternator, which Auto Zone failed to provide me. I will definitely do business here again when needed.
Pulled up and was immediately helped by the manager! My trunk wouldn't shut and they took a quick look at it and fixed it without hesitation with a screw driver and for FREE! Everyone here is super nice and really willing to help with any problems! Came here a few months ago when my window wiper flew off and the service was great so I knew this was the place to be.
Great customer service! Mark did a great job changing my tail light. I would not go to any other car shops than this location!! They were extremely helpful and nice!
If I could put no stars I would!!!. I have read through a lot of these comments and realize many of the positive 5 star comments are generated. I have been taken advantage in the past on vehicles so I know mechanics have a tendency to over charge. This PEP Boys store took advantage with no hesitation.. My vehicle never ran hot but yet I need a water pump.. I went in for an oil leak came out with a timing belt replaced and somehow they fixed the oil leak so they say. I was charged 850 dollars and the day of pick up 901 dollars as you can see the price rose every other hour and they kept the vehicle overnight... And the mechanic saying "we are the best in Tallahassee". and I should appreciate all the discounts he gave me. If you are a student get more than one person to look at your vehicle. because this Pep Boys store will take advantage of you and they don't care if you know they are.. they have no problems sleeping at night. I despise getting vehicles looked at for this very reason..
This is a great car shop! I came down to tally for a weekend trip and my car ended up having some major problems as I was about to go back home (4 hours away) and they took anazing care of my car. They definitely eased my worry while I was freaking about how I was going to get home. They fixed my car in just a few hours and made it possible for me to go home the next day! If you ever need your car fixed or something looked at , definitely go here! I’m definitely going to have to come back to tally to pay them a visit ! Thank you so much for all of your work!
