Brought my car in because it kept shaking and stalling. They told me the problem was my low pressure valve, which I thought was kinda odd since I searched a few auto forums online and none had mentioned that, but I'm not very car savvy so I went ahead with the repairs. Cost me $750, and 3 weeks later my car is still shaking and stalling. Will never come here again.
It took over an hour to get a oil change with an appointment. Initial service was good but I had to request my car because I wasn't notified when it was done. When I asked the lady at the cash register about my car she did not acknowledge my presence until she was done with her paperwork.
I bought new tires at TireRack and with sears close to work I took it there to have them put on. It took about 90 mins with an appointment; however, it turns out that the tires were not balanced correctly and old weights were never even removed. Their service techs are either lazy and incompetent, or both! They agreed to re-balance the wheels but I had to setup an appointment for another time which would take another 40 mins. I decided that I will just take the car to someone who knows what they are doing and pay for it to be done right. It's a shame that something as simple as balancing a wheel is too tough for their technicians.
You better not need service without making an appointment at Sears. Something as simple as an oil change cannot be performed without an appointment. With 2 hours left on the clock Sears would not be able to perform an oil change. And don’t buy the groupon because your screwed. Wonder why Sears is going under, nothing but excuses and poor customer service. Done with Sears! Only 1 star because there were no negative stars!!!!
If I could give ZERO stars I would. Took my perfectly good car to get a simple oil change and ended up with my check engine light on upon leaving. I guess that's why they have coupons for $17.99 oil change. WORST service ever. You get what you pay for. smh I will NEVER take my car there again. Employee Karen was NOT friendly nor helpful. I should have left then. They didn't place a reminder sticker in my car for the next oil change. When asked for it, the employee asked me for a marker and said he could give me a sticker and I could write on the sticker reminder MYSELF. What the what. Oh and while waiting for my oil change i decide to walk to the food court to get something to eat, not knowing behind me in line was the employees that was supposed to be conducting my OIL CHANGE!!! Man this was the worst experience by far!!! NEVER take you car to Sears people.
