I have known Dr. Loeb for 20 years. I had bone fragments removed from my knee back in the 90's and was fore warned that I would need an osteotomy in time to correct a 15 degree bow in my leg. He was correct and I had that surgery a few years later. It bought me 11 years. About 5 weeks ago I went to Dr Loeb for Total Knee Replacement. Thanks to Peter and his staff I am walking pain free for the first time in years! My recovery has been EASY compared to stories I've read and I thank Peter Loeb for that also.
Dr. Loeb did a knee replacement and 2 hip replacements on me. I couldn't have found a nicer Dr. anywhere. He made sure I was taken good care of in the hospital too because sometimes it takes the nurses an hour or two to bring pain medicines but he made sure that didn't happen. He is one of my favorite Drs. ever. I need arm surgery and he'll be the one doing it. At first he can be ruff around the edges but after you get to know him he's a really nice person.
Treated my family like lying S.O.B. Demeaning, would not address issues, staff would not accomodate, and follow up was non-existence. Stay away!!!!!!

Great doctor! He does open up after a while. He has been spot-on for my knee and foot problems. How often does a surgeon not recommend surgery? I really appreciate his candor and concern.
