I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Thompson for our entire family. When I moved to Tallahassee, after living in a small town, I was nervous to find another Dr. with the "family" feel, but I know with Dr. Thompson and her office staff, our family has found just that. She is truly a blessing to our family, she is wonderful, and truly cares for her patients. The office staff is, also, the absolute best! They are always very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure their patients are cared for. The day that she stops treating us, will be a very sad day. We absolutely love this office.
i was barely 10 minutes late to an appointment and they told me i had to reschedule, when they were the ones who needed to see me.
STAY AWAY AND FIND A DOCTOR WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOU AND YOUR MEDICAL NEEDS.
I have also been turned away fro an appointment and been told to "wait out the sickness for 7 days" over the phone. Awful. awful.awful
"Fired" us because I would not vaccinate my youngest due to my older two children having ASD. I've been loyal patient for over 15 years. Doesn't really care that much.
I would give zero stars if that was an option. I have been a Dr Thompson has been my PCP for around 15 yrs. I've never been over the moon about her, but usually saw the NP's who I did like. Over the past several years, having to actually see Dr Thompson herself, I have been less and less impressed. However, switching Dr's when I typically only went a few times a year didn't seem worth it. Yesterday was the absolute last draw. I was due for a physical examin December, I had it scheduled twice once cancelled bc I couldn't make it and once cancelled by her. I currently take blood pressure medication and a anti depressant. I have been out of both for several weeks, and taking half dosages for a month before that. I contacted the office to make an appt, was told they could not get me in for a.physical until mid July... fine, explained I just needed refills for my RX and scheduled an appt for a meds check. 45 minutes before my scheduled appt I received a call from the receptionist telling me that Dr Thompson cancelled my appt bc I am past due for a physical and will not refill my NECESSARY meds until then. Again mid JULY... So I am supposed to go without blood pressure medication and needed anti depressant for an additional 2 months. This is beyond ridiculous, irresponsible and potentially DANGEROUS for me. I will not be returning to the office and would strongly advise anyone who asks to find another Dr as well.
got a phone call from them the other day and no one left a message. i called them back, left a message and didnt get a call back. maybe had they left a message, i wouldve known to arrive sooner.
If I could give this office zero stars I would. I had a reoccurring problem in which I was repeatedly given the same 2 exams in which I tested negative for each time. (I also tested negative 3 months earlier) After the second exam ($100 each test totaling in $300 for unnecessary exams) I asked them not to test me for this again. The nurse continued to send off for the test and bill me yet again. When I asked to see Dr. Thompson about the issue I was basically refused. They kept making excuses as to why I could meet with her and put me off to other nurses. When I asked why they would keep testing me for the same thing over and over she actually hung up on me.
also, i kept getting strep throat/tonsillitis and they told me that they couldnt keep treating me for every flair up. well youre my doctor, right? where else am i supposed to go?
for my annual appointment i rarely see "dr thompson" even when i do they never really seem to care about me. they just want to get you out as quick as possible.
