Dr. Grate is a caring and professional doctor. I have been going to him for several years and each time I go he takes time to answer all of my questions. I never feel rushed and I can tell he genuinely cares about me and my medical issues. I will never forget the first time I went to his office how impressed I was when other patients, that had been going to him for years, told me how wonderful he was. His staff is very friendly and cheerful too. I would highly recommend him!
Found Dr Grate to be highly knowledgeable and very professional. He takes the time to talk an explain what he feels the diagnosis is and follows up with tests to prove it. The staff, Diane and Christina are very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend him!
I have been going to Dr Grate since 2012 and would highly recommend him.He did sinus surgery on me in 2012 and I felt every confidence in him. He is very thorough and takes the time to talk to you about your diagnosis and make you feel comfortable. If warranted, he will follow up with tests. The girls in the office, especially Christina and Dianne are friendly and professional. If you need to see him they make every effort to get you in as soon as possible.
Mr. Grate diagnosed my grandmother with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. When my mother and grandmother visited for a follow up after the diagnosis; Mr. Grate had no answers. He advised my mother when she began asking questions; that he would not spend ten minutes nor ten hours researching something he has no idea about. He then proceeded to chastise my mother about the frequency of her visits to my grandmother. I was unaware this fell in the wheelhouse of doctors who have no answers about the diagnosis. I refuse to refer Mr. Grate as a doctor because I do not know any doctors who behave in this manner. From today and every day forward I would urge any and every patient to stay away from Mr. Grate as he is overly excited to diagnose you and then quick to let you know he has no answers about your diagnosis. He also has no problem telling you he knows nothing about nothing. Mr. Grate knows nothing about the diagnosis of my grandmother, but can comment on the dynamics of someone's family. I will also be filing a complaint to the Florida Medical Board.
