Very disturbing demeanor. He is rude, apathetic never smiles, and gets agitated if you have legitimate questions I felt uncomfortable with him so my hubby would go with me . He thought it was to much for me to deal with after a visit as well. We got rid of him and moved on.

Just moved here from out of town and needed a GI doc. I read the reviews and quickly discounted the vast majority. It is sad that people flock to the internet and leave negative reviews about businesses. At any rate, I called Dr. Leichus's office to make an appointment and the staff scheduled me right away. The staff was friendly as was Dr. Leichus. He answered all of my questions and ordered appropriate testing. I am more than happy with my experience with him and would certainly recommend him to friends and family.

I am only in Tallahassee for a few days visiting family but had bad abdominal pain and was in the ER a few nights ago. The ER ruled out a couple of life threatening things and sent me home but I was still in pain so we went to Dr Leichus. I am a difficult patient as I ask a ton of questions and a lot of doctors don't like me, but he listened to my concerns and tried to cover as many bases as possible. I told him I wouldn't do a Cat scan and instead of having an attitude he gladly ordered an ultrasound instead. When I went back he then listened to me again, didn't get mad at me for not taking the prescription ( I avoid drugs as much as I can) and taking probiotics instead. He then ordered the tests I thought I needed and was very kind. I would say if you're like me and you want an active role in your healthcare, he is one doctor who doesn't have the god complex that many do. His bedside manner is refreshing. 5 stars
to sit on an uncovered mattress while IV put in then sent back to waiting room. Asked why such a long wait? "You are next." Called back at 8:00.
Past experience was good but this last one was unbelievable. Told to be at the surgery center at 6:00 AM. Arrived at 5:50. Called back to desk for insurance card etc. at 6:30. Waiting room packed with patients and "drivers." Given a wrinkled, old set of papers to "read - not sign". At 7:40 went to desk to find out why still waiting. Called back at 7:45 -- but only
