I had a medical issue and was taken right in. He was so professional and diagnosed the problem promptly. He did the in-office procedure that same day, relieving me of lots of pain. I was so pleased since he did the minor surgery so skillfully. His staff was very caring and cheerful. I would highly recommend him!
Sometimes the wait is very long but Dr. Merritt's care is very good, he takes the time to be with his patients. His nurse Anna, has been with him for many years and they work very well as a team. I have had many different procedures done here very happy very good care of their patients.
I have never experienced such long wait times. It is pretty bad when they keep a laminated sign that say Dr. Merritt is 1 hr. behind stuck in the reception window. 9:45 appointment and it is 11:27. Still have NOT seen him!!!! Ridiculous!

I could not get in to see Doctor Merritt for a couple of months. I made the choice to visit another practitioner of the podiatric arts. I should have waited. After suffering from June to September, I finally was able to set an appointment with Dr. Merritt. Within three days I was scheduled for mitigation of hammer toes, and a bunion was removed. He is caring, competent, detailed and skilled. I cannot imagine anyone giving him less than five stars. Sure you must wait. One day I arrived and he was TWO HOURS BEHIND. So what? I left and the office let me know to arrive within half an hour and then went in immediately when I returned. You cannot hurry medical procedures. And frankly, I would wait all day if I was required to do so, to be healed by this healer. I cannot say enough good things about this man and his commitment to his patients. Wait. It is worth it.
He was competent, the shoe insert worked as did no other, and his cortisone shot was the only one I have ever had that was practically painless. I had been suffering from a shoe insert from the guy across from the post office for nearly a year so this insert was a BIG improvement.
