Dr. Okoroji is an excellent doctor, he is very patient and takes the time to explain every test or procedure given. Being a first time mom I was worried about everything. He was very supportive, caring, pays attention, and was readily available at any time of the day to answer my questions. From my very first visit at the office I felt welcomed and comfortable by the staff and pleasant environment. Dr. Okoroji helped me deliver my best gift on 08/17/2016. His knowledge, skill, and warm personality makes me grateful to have him as my doctor. Thank You!!! I am giving Dr. Chukwuma M. Okoroji and the entire staff at Nature Coast Women Care the highest recommendation.
Wonderful people.. I cannot descrive how comforting it was to have a doting and sympathetic doctor to help us through a very difficult situation while our daughter was born.. I highly recommend his practice to anyone looking for a new ob/gyn..
They are always perpetually at least an hour behind before they even call you back to actually see the doctor. Then you wait another 30 minutes to an hour or more...(presently it has been an hour and 3 minutes back in the room waiting for the doctor and he still hasn't come in).
If your time is valuable, go elsewhere. If you've got all day and just wanna waste it sitting in this office- by all means give this place a shot.
Once, maybe twice I will makes excuses or allowances for them or any office. BUT them being HOURS behind at every appointment, is a way of life for this practice.
I can honestly say this has been the most positive experience I've ever had with a doctor's office! I called the office as a first time patient needing to be seen right away as I had been suffering for over a month with excruciating symptoms. I had already seen a regular physician, a specialist and had diagnostic surgery with no relief. When I initially called the office, Sally, a member of Dr. Okoroji's office staff, listened intently to my issues and was genuinely concerned. She put herself in my shoes, was empathetic and squeezed me in the next day! When I arrived everyone in the office was sooo nice.. I literally thought it was a joke or something lol. The nurse that saw me before the doctor was extremely caring listened to all my symptoms, provided feedback and took extensive notes to provide to the doctor and she even gave me invaluable advice for a personal hardship I was going through. She was amazing! When Dr. O came in, he also did extensive research on my symptoms before providing any feedback. He gave me a prescription explaining why he was using an alternate approach to prescriptions I was given by previous doctors, and he sent me for blood work.. I finally received the correct prescription and my symptoms went away almost immediately!! FINALLY some relief!! All it took was a good doctor to listen carefully to my symptoms and prescribe me the correct medication.. I never needed a CT scan of my major organs, diagnostic surgery or ANY the other prescriptions prescribed by previous doctors! Moral to my story: If you want the right diagnosis and a doctor and office staff that treats you like you're more than a case number or a dollar sign, GO SEE DR. OKOROJI!! #TheBEST!
You will lose 2-3 hours of your day each time you come in here for an appointment even though the actual "appointment" only takes about 10 minutes at the most. The Dr. appears to not care one whit that he keeps his patients waiting hours after their appointment time. I have been here numerous times and each time it is exactly the same.
It's a shame because some of the nurses are awesome. But the folks at the front desk and the doctor absolutely give the appearance of not caring about anyone's time but their own.
Wow, can't even begin to describe the level of incompetence by the nurse practitioner Jennifer Schnippert. Don't let her see you or you'll be at risk of being diagnosed by a disease or disorder you don't have, just to bill the insurance for more money.
