I was a pt of Dr Smith for years and I enjoyed her service. The front staff on the other hand is rude and unhelpful. They do not understand how to handle pt concerns and questions without being nasty and rude over the phone. They do not give any useful information and rush you off the phone. I do not recommend anyone to go there if they want a nice staff to work with and good customer service, but Dr Smith herself was always very nice and helpful, if you are able to get past the rude staff.
Hands down the most inefficient Doctor's office in Tallahassee. "Dr." Smith's practice of medicine is unacceptable and counterproductive to the needs and wellbeing of her patients. As a healthcare professional, I was quite disturbed by this establishment, and I would never recommend anyone.
I enjoy Dr. Smith herself. Her staff, however, can be lacking in customer service. Also, they seem to have trouble picking up the phone for an appointment.
Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from. She is my primary care doctor and my visit I was in and out quickly staff and doctor were both pleasant. Glad I chose her.
I should have read the previous review (Rebecca's). Unfortunately I didn't even make it in to see if Dr. Smith was an adequate doctor or not. I spent three weeks trying to make an appointment with Dr. Smith. The first week I had called, Amanda answered and was told to fill out a new patient form on TPCA, and hung up on without receiving information on where to find this information. I filled out--accidentally--the patient portal information rather than the new patient form. I called back the second week and spoke with Nick. Nick kindly took down my information to confirm that they accepted my insurance and called me back the following day to say yes, they take my insurance. I have an ACTUAL voicemail where Nick has said they take my insurance and will call me to schedule an appointment (which I also find strange, but apparently this is the TPCA way). The next week (by now I have no heard from them for 6-7 days) I called and Amanda had answered and said there was no trace of my information (because she did not take the second on my first call to explain where to go on TPCA's website to find the new patient forms). I then filled out new patient forms for every doctor on there because at this point I had REALLY needed to see a doctor. The following day I got a call from Amanda saying they do not accept my insurance. I cannot believe these people are still in business it's as if they do not want patients at all.
