Of course when we moved in they were not cleaned and my fiancé and I quickly informed them of this issue. They fixed my carpets however tried to use this as leverage whenever they screwed up for the rest of my lease saying they “accommodated me” when in reality they did what they were supposed to do before I even moved in which is… THEIR DAMN JOBS.
I have been a tenant for 3 months and I am a happy camper. ALL management companies have issues- but remember- the management company supports the tenants within the parameters provided by the owner of the property. My experience. I was driving down from NC to accept a position in Tallahassee. I found their property online while driving. I called them, they took my application over the phone- approved me- and met me the same day at the property to sign my lease. As a professional, I expect professional service and business professionals. The staff at Structure fit the criteria.
DO NOT EVER RENT FROM STRUCTURE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT NOW KNOWN AS “CORE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT” Miranda (broker/owner) is a very unprofessional, condescending and confrontational person who will lie to protect her staff and company’s mistakes instead of apologizing and trying to correct them. My experience with structure started off badly as I was told by Lisa that our carpets in our units would have been cleaned because they reeked off cat or dog piss stench and I had a crawling baby on my hands, she assured me they would be cleaned.
Worst experience I've ever had with a management company!! They've been unprofessional, incompetent, and an over terrible experience! They'll lie, never return calls gotta repair? Hope it's not serious because it WONT get fixed unless they're showing your place. Want your deposit back? Laughable!!! They will try to scam you anyway they can! Never live ANYWHERE managed by these incompetent arrogant lying baphoons!!!
Then on September 1st 2015 the FL Marshall came by to drop of a notice for the owner which read that the house would be auctioned off by the end of the month if he did not pay his back taxes. My Fiancé and I again freaked out because we just spent all of our money moving in. They refused to provide me with any legitimate proof that the owner paid his back taxes and demanded that we paid our rent even though we had no idea what was going on with our house.
I just moved into a property managed by Structure and I absolutely love it! The apartment I moved into is literally across the street from the FSU campus which is super convenient and exactly what I was looking for. Also the apartment itself is great! It is by far the best place that I have ever moved to in Tallahassee. The management team at Structure has also been extremely helpful whenever I have had issues. Most new buildings (like the one I moved into) have some minor issues that are not noticeable until someone actually starts residing there. I had a problem that I wasn't sure could wait through the weekend which lead me to calling the emergency number and I then spoke with a representative. The representative notified the manager and within a few minutes I was able to verify that a professional will take care of it ASAP. This apartment is an overall fantastic upgrade from the student housing I was living in before and the management at Structure has been wonderful!
Lisa has accidentally emailed me when she thought she was emailing Miranda and called me stupid and other names, while she is aware I saw this email neither her nor Miranda has ever issued an apology to me and are always defensive whenever I mention it or ask questions within my legal rights as a tenant. Lisa and Miranda specifically are the reasons why we did not renew our lease and would never recommend this property management company to anyone not even our worse enemy. They’re unprofessional, they lie and will try to belittle and chastise you. Miranda is constantly on the defensive probably because she knows her company has a horrible reputation (hence the name change to Core Property Management). If you rent from these people don’t expect your security deposit back within the legal time-frame they have to give it back to you by. They will deliver it to a bogus address. Then tell you it’s been “lost” but that you can pick it up almost an entire month later after it was SUPPOSED to be delivered. When you pick it up they will charge you HUNDREDS of dollars for minor cleaning charges (carpet cleaning, bathtub and sweeping leaves out of the back “patio”). You will constantly be told misinformation by different members of this business, constantly be lied to, Miranda is no help and consistently an overbearing and unprofessional person to deal with. Bottom line is whatever rental they're advertising at whatever price - it's not worth the stress nor the unprofessional-ism you will deal with for your entire lease term and after when you want your deposit back. Anyone on here giving them high ratings is lying or probably fake reviews by their employees or friends of such.
I lived here 4 years at the property very convenient such as Publix around the corner also the University. I absolutely love it there. Very quiet area since my experience living there i had no problems. If anything need to be fixed the maintenance guy comes right away and take care the issue
